The calling - why I started StoryOf

Hi, I’m Daniella. I’ve spent the last 15 years creating stories in animation, but the most meaningful ones didn’t screen at festivals. They were made for weddings, for families, for people who wanted to hold on to love, memory, and connection in the most personal way.
That’s why I started Story Of. To help couples tell their love story in a way that’s poetic, beautiful, and unforgettable. To help families remember their loved ones and share their memories in a way that's smart and 21st-century as well as loving.
This isn’t just a job—it’s a calling. And if you’re planning a wedding and looking for something that will make your guests feel special, or a way to celebrate a loved one's birthday or any life cycle event, this might be it.

💫 Why I Make These Films
Some stories live in photo albums. There are stories that we try to hold on to in our memories. And then, some stories are too precious to leave unspoken.
I’ve always been drawn to the quiet moments between people. The way a parent brushes a strand of hair from a child’s face. The way two people look at each other after everything they’ve been through. The small gestures that say, I see you. I remember.
I’ve worked in animation for many years—festivals, clients, studios—but what stayed with me most were the stories that came from real life. The ones about love, about memory, about connection across generations.
That’s how Story Of was born. Not as a business idea. As a need.
A need to help people tell the stories that matter most to them—in a way that words and video alone sometimes can’t.To create a keepsake that feels like a poem in motion. A film that captures not just what happened, but what it felt like.
Moments that can’t be captured in photos alone — that’s where animation begins
Why Me?
I’m not the cheapest, the flashiest, or the loudest. But I listen. I care. And I bring over 15 years of storytelling and directing experience to every frame I make.
I’m the daughter of a historian and a psychologist, so maybe it was always in me—this deep love for people’s stories and the layers that make them whole.
Every film I create is one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted, and made with the kind of care I’d want someone to give if they were telling my story.
So if you’re planning something big—like a wedding—and you want to give your partner, your family, your future children something they'll feel in their bones…
Then I’d be honored to help you tell your story.

Welcome to StoryOf.
